Our first event of Semester 2 is a Game Jam! This will be a two part event held at Club HQ during our weekly meetups in week 1 and week 2. People who come along to week 1's meetup will have a chance to form groups to make games. We'll also be explaining and formally announcing the jam theme then. After that, you have a week to make a game. We'll be showcasing the games during week 2's meetup.
For those who don't know, game jams are events where people work solo or together to make a game from scratch based on a provided theme.
Don't be discouraged if you don't successfully complete your project. Additionally, we accept more than just games (e.g. paper prototypes, board games, etc.) This event is not a competition, and this is an amazing opportunity to learn the broad strokes of working with others on game development in a small period of time.
